StackEnhance Help Center

Getting started

Set up your account and add your email history.

  • What is StackEnhance? — StackEnhance has two parts: Signal collects and scores the marketing emails brands send, and Studio turns your product feed into ads.
  • Quick start — Your first ten minutes in Signal: check your brand, add competitors, upload your email history and open your first email.
  • Add your email history — Upload emails you already have, yours and your competitors’, as .eml files or a .zip, or send many at once from Gmail. Step by step.
  • Get new emails automatically — Add your StackEnhance newsletter address as a subscriber in your email platform, so every campaign you send from now on lands in Signal by itself.
  • Add competitors — Track the brands you compete with: search by name or paste a website domain on the Competitors page. How many you can track depends on your plan.
  • Your own brand — How your account is connected to your own brand, what to do if it was not found at sign-up, and why adding your own emails helps.

Using Signal

Find, read and compare emails, and see what your market is doing.

  • The dashboard — What the Pulse dashboard shows: your brand at a glance, this week in your market, alerts, action items, head-to-head and top performers.
  • Reading an email — What you see when you open an email: the preview, the AI summary, the score and its breakdown, the calls to action, links and products.
  • The health score — What the 0 to 100 score on every email means, how to read the grade and the breakdown, and why it is a guide rather than a verdict.
  • Find, tag and export emails — Search the email archive, filter by brand, tag and content, save a filter, tag emails, and export a list as CSV or share a view.
  • Subject lines — Browse the subject lines in your archive, filter for favourites, high scorers, emoji, discounts and questions, and copy the ones you like.
  • The calendar — See when brands send: month and week views, a heatmap of the busiest days, retail events, and exports to CSV, ICS or a printable PDF.
  • Campaigns — Collect related emails in a campaign, like folders you build by hand, and get a briefing, a timeline and a brand comparison for them.
  • Brand pages — Everything about one brand: how often it sends, its peak day and time, its offers and promo codes, its product launches and its latest emails.
  • Intelligence: trends, benchmarks and comparisons — The Intelligence section: when to send and what works, benchmarks against your market, brand-against-brand comparisons and year over year.
  • Your marketing plan — Generate an AI marketing plan based on what you and your competitors send, read its sections, and regenerate it when your archive grows.
  • Alerts and the weekly digest — Choose which competitor alerts you get in the app, set the discount and score thresholds, and turn the Monday email digest on or off.
  • Keyboard shortcuts — The keyboard shortcuts in Signal: search from anywhere, move through the email list, step between emails and switch calendar views.
  • Ask Signal questions in ChatGPT and Claude — Add Signal by StackEnhance to ChatGPT or Claude and ask how often a brand emails and what it sent recently, free and without an account.

Account & plans

Your team, your plan, your settings and your data.

  • Plans and full access — What the Free, Pro and Ultimate plans include, how to get full access with a quote, and what happens to your data on the Free plan.
  • Invite your team — Invite colleagues to your workspace, choose their role, and manage pending invitations. Team seats depend on your plan.
  • Your settings — Change your name, password and two-factor sign-in, and set your week start, date format, time zone, theme and email digest.
  • Privacy and your data — How personal details are removed from emails, how to download your data, how to delete your account, and what happens to the emails you added.

Studio

Product feeds and ads for every channel.

  • Getting started with Studio — Studio turns your product feed and brand kit into ads for every size and channel. The four first steps, from your products to a published feed.

Troubleshooting

When something does not look right.

  • Emails are not showing up — Why an email or a brand may be missing: an upload still in review, a brand you do not track, the Free plan history window, or a brand that stopped.
  • An email looks wrong — Missing images, a broken layout or odd colours in an email preview, and what you can do about it: switch view, check dark mode, or tell us.
  • Can't sign in — Trouble signing in or joining a team: the sign-in code, a forgotten password, an invitation that expired, or ending up in the wrong workspace.

Frequently asked questions

What is StackEnhance?

A marketing toolkit for online stores. Signal collects and scores the marketing emails brands send, so you can see what your market is doing. Studio turns your product feed into ads.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan tracks 3 competitors with the last 6 months of history, 1 seat and 5 exports a month. No card needed. For full access, request a quote.

How do emails get into StackEnhance?

We collect the newsletters of the brands in our archive ourselves. You can add more: upload .eml files or a .zip, send many at once with Gmail’s “Forward as attachment”, or add your newsletter address as a subscriber in your email platform.

Are the emails I upload private?

No — approved emails join that brand’s shared archive, so everyone who tracks the brand sees them. Newsletters are public marketing, and personal details of the person who received the email are removed first.

Do you show open rates or clicks?

No. Signal sees the emails brands send, not what their customers do with them, so it has no open, click or revenue data and never shows any.

How long until my uploaded emails show up?

We review every upload before it joins the archive. You get a notification and an email when it is approved, and you can follow it under Import emails → Your uploads.

Which files can I upload?

.eml files, or a .zip of them, up to 9 MB per file. Classic Outlook for Windows saves .msg files, which we can’t read — use Outlook on the web instead.

Why can’t I see emails older than 6 months?

The Free plan shows the last 6 months. Older emails are kept and appear as soon as you have full access.

How do I get full access?

Email support@stackenhance.com, or click “Request a quote” wherever the app shows a limit. We send you a quote and open full access on your account.

Can my team use the same account?

Yes, on Pro (5 seats) and Ultimate (unlimited). Invite colleagues under Settings → Workspace; ask them to accept the invitation rather than sign up on their own.

Can I compare brands?

Yes. Use “Compare with” on a brand page, or Intelligence → Compare for a leaderboard and two brands side by side.

Can I use Signal in ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. Signal by StackEnhance is a free, read-only connector — no account needed. Its URL is https://mcp.stackenhance.com/mcp; the help article “Ask Signal questions in ChatGPT and Claude” has the steps.

Is Studio included?

Studio is free for everyone during early access.

How do I contact support?
