An email looks wrong

Missing images, a broken layout or odd colours in an email preview, and what you can do about it: switch view, check dark mode, or tell us.

• Images are missing. Some brands remove the images of old emails from their servers. Signal keeps a copy of most images, but not always. In the archive, Hide expired images filters such emails out.
• The layout looks broken. Switch between Desktop, Mobile and HTML in the preview. Some emails are built for one size only.
• Colours look odd. Turn dark mode off in the preview.
• The summary or score is missing. New emails are analysed within a few minutes; refresh the page.
