What the 0 to 100 score on every email means, how to read the grade and the breakdown, and why it is a guide rather than a verdict.

Every email gets a score from 0 to 100, set by AI from what the email contains.

How to read it

• The grade (A to F) is the score in one letter.
• The breakdown shows content, design, technical, calls to action and spam risk, and names the weakest area — the quickest thing to improve.
• Your brand's score on the dashboard and brand pages is based on its recent emails.

What it is not

The score is about the email itself. It does not know how many people opened or clicked it — Signal has no such data. Use it to compare emails and spot patterns, not as a prediction of results.

If a score looks wrong, open the email and check the breakdown: a missing call to action or a broken image often explains it.
