Why we built StackEnhance: know your market, then make your marketing

What StackEnhance is, why we built it and what it means for your team: Signal shows what your market sends, Studio turns your products into ads.

The StackEnhance team · 2026-10-10

Most e-commerce marketing teams work in two directions at once.

One direction is knowing the market. What did our competitors send this week? How often do they email? When do they start their Black Friday, and how deep do they go? Which products do they push, and how do they word the offer?

The other direction is making the marketing. The product feed that every ad and every shopping listing runs on. The ads themselves, in every size every channel asks for. The copy, in every market you sell in.

Both jobs are done every week, usually by the same small team. Yet the tools for them live in different places, and what you learn in one rarely reaches the work in the other. That gap is why we built StackEnhance.

What we built: two directions, one account

StackEnhance has two parts. Each works on its own; together they share one login, your team, your brands and your brand kit.

Signal: know the market

Signal collects the marketing emails brands send and turns them into something you can read in seconds instead of hours.

  • An archive of every email. We subscribe to the newsletters of the brands in our archive ourselves, so their emails arrive without you doing anything. You can add your own history too: upload the emails you already have, yours and your competitors'.
  • Your own emails next to theirs. Add your newsletter address as a subscriber in your email platform and upload your past campaigns, and you see what you actually send — how often, on which days, with which offers — side by side with the brands you compete with: on your brand page, in head-to-head comparisons and in the benchmarks.
  • Every email, read for you. Each one gets a full preview (desktop, mobile and HTML), a one-line AI summary, and a score from 0 to 100 with a breakdown into content, design, technical, calls to action and spam risk, naming the weakest area. You also see its calls to action, where its links go and which products it shows.
  • A page per brand. How often it sends, its peak day and time, its promo codes and offers, its product launches, and its latest emails. Put another brand next to it with one click.
  • The calendar. Every email on the day it was sent, a heatmap of the busiest days, and retail events like Black Friday laid over the top, so you can see who starts when.
  • Intelligence. When to send and what is working in your market, benchmarks against the brands you track, brand against brand, and this year next to last year.
  • Alerts when something happens. You hear about it when a competitor sends, when one runs a sale (you decide how deep it has to be), when one sends an unusually strong email (you set the score) and when one changes how often it emails. Alerts arrive in the app, and the dashboard flags the week's big moves: sales of 40% or more, a brand suddenly sending twice as often, very high-scoring emails.
  • A weekly breakdown every Monday. One email with what you sent and what your competitors sent, the emails worth a look, the notable moves measured against each brand's own usual, a table per brand, and what happened the same week last year.
  • The things you come back to. A library of subject lines, campaigns you collect by hand, and an AI marketing plan written from your own archive.

Signal also answers questions inside ChatGPT and Claude through a free connector: how often a brand emails, and what it sent recently.

Studio: make the marketing

Studio takes your products and your brand and turns them into feeds and ads that are ready for every channel.

  • A better product feed. Connect your feed and Studio scores it out of 100 against each platform's own requirements: Google, Meta and ChatGPT. It shows what would get products rejected and fixes what it can — titles, descriptions, colours and images. You review the changes. For Google and Meta, Studio serves the improved feed and refreshes it every morning; for ChatGPT it prepares the file.
  • One ad, every size. Compose an ad once with your product, your copy and your brand kit, and Studio renders every size and placement in one pass, each with the right safe zones. Hide the logo on a slim banner or shorten a headline for one size without touching the others.
  • Your brand, applied for you. Fonts, logo, colours and badges on every render. Product shots are cut out of their background and soft images are upscaled before they render.
  • Everything in one place. Images, clips and copy, organised and tagged to the products they show, with copy per product and per market.

Studio is free during early access.

Why the two belong together

The two directions are more useful side by side than apart.

From what they send to what you make. Signal shows which offers, timing and formats your competitors use. Studio is where your answer gets built — in your brand, for every channel, without waiting on a design queue.

Your catalogue against your own emails. Because Signal also captures your own brand, Studio can show which products in your feed you have already featured in email, and which you never have.

One setup. Your team, your brands and your brand kit are set up once and shared by both.

Your email history, kept for good

Most teams lose their email history every time something changes. Switch email platform or CRM, and the old campaigns stay behind in an account nobody logs into any more. Change agency, and the archive leaves with them. A year later nobody can answer a simple question: what did we send last Black Week?

StackEnhance keeps every email that reaches it — we never delete one. Upload your past campaigns once, add your newsletter address as a subscriber in your email platform, and your history lives in one place that does not depend on which email platform you use this year. Switching tools no longer means starting from zero.

On the Free plan you see the last 6 months; everything older is kept and shows as soon as you have full access.

What we deliberately don't do

We would rather tell you what StackEnhance can't see than pretend.

  • No open rates, clicks or revenue. Signal sees the emails brands send, not what their customers do with them. You will never see an invented open rate in StackEnhance.
  • No invented numbers. Scores, counts and dates come from the emails themselves. Where we have no data, we say so.
  • Personal details removed. Before an email is stored, the personal details of the person who received it — their name in a greeting, their email address, member and order numbers — are removed. The brand's own content stays.
  • A person checks every upload. An email file can claim to come from anyone, so every uploaded email is reviewed before it joins a brand's shared archive.

What it means for your team

If you run CRM or lifecycle, you plan your calendar knowing what your competitors sent this week, how often they send and which offers they ran last season — and you see your own sends right next to theirs. The alerts and the Monday breakdown mean you hear about a competitor's big sale when it lands, not a week later. And your own history stays put when you change email platform.

If you run performance or paid social, you get every size for every channel from one ad, in your brand, and a feed that the platforms don't reject.

If you own the catalogue, you fix the feed your ads and listings run on and see, per platform, what would get a product turned down.

If you lead the team, you get one place where the market and your own output sit side by side.

How to start

The Free plan tracks 3 competitors with the last 6 months of history. Studio is free during early access.

  1. Sign up with your work email. If we know your brand, we connect it to your account.
  2. Add the competitors you watch. If we already collect a brand, its history shows up right away.
  3. Add your own history: upload the emails you already have, or send them from Gmail with Forward as attachment. Here is how.

When you want more competitors, full history or your whole team in one workspace, ask us for a quote and we will open full access on your account.
